Hyundai has launched New Hyundai i20 model in india. The New Hyundai i20 comes in 3 petrol variants such as Hyundai i20 Magna, Hyundai i20 Asta, Hyundai i20 Asta (O). The only difference in Huyndai Asta & Hyundai Asta(O) is that the O variant comes with side and curtain airbags which is a first for a car in this segment in India. and other 2 variants like Hyundai i20 Magna CRDi, Hyundai i20 Asta CRDi launched in Europe. New Hyundai i20, an upgraded version of the recently launched New Hyundai i10 compact car, in India, by the end of 2008. New Hyundai i20 B-Segment hatchback is largely inspired by its premium hatchback Hyundai i30 (already launched in europe and korea). New Hyundai i20 front is defined with a low slung grille, large headlamps and sporty round fog lamps. The steeply raked winds screen flows smoothly and merges with a novel tail section. Similar to Renault Clio, New Hyundai i20 features an upright tailgate which means more room for luggage too. interiors are really of the top notch with really high quality plastics used in it. New Hyundai i20 is very much flexible seating very much similar to Hyundai i10. New Hyundai i20 will offer more space than from the spacious Hyundai Getz. Powering the New Hyundai i20 will be a 1.2 liter gasoline engine (kappa), developing 58KW. Hyundai is also developing a new 1.1L CRDi, pumping out 55KW. All the variants boast of dual tone beige interiors. New Hyundai i20’s ample dimensions 3565 *1595*1550mm(l*w*h) and with the wheelbase of 2380 mm gives it the additional stability and added cabin space. The cabin is well insulated from the engine noise. New Hyundai i20 comes with front and rear door full size arm rest, rear parcel tray and seat back pocket in magna and magna option pack. New Hyundai i20 is equipped with front power windows and air conditioner with heater in all variants. Rear wiper, rear power windows and defogger only in family.
