The Petrol engine of The Ford Ikon is available in Ford New Ikon 1.3 Rocam variant and diedel version of the Ford New Ikon is in the new design of the car as Ford Ikon 1.4 Duratorq TDCi variant. it is a much better option. This new engine is much more fuel efficient, highly turbo charged and is a common-rail direct injection type. Which is excellently capable to deliver a high grade fuel economy with amazing torque capacity. 1.4 DuraTorq TDCi engine is a 4-in-line type engine. This engine is capable of delivering a displacement of 1399cc. Moreover the engine of the car has a compression ratio of 18:1, maximum power being delivered by the car is 68PS at the rate of 4000 rpm and the torque being delivered by the car is 160Nm at the rate of 2000rpm, all with the five speed manual transmission. The New Ford Ikon continues to be a leader in its segment and caters to customers with a combination of superior fuel efficiency and improved engine performance. The exteriors of the car are equipped with new grille-less kinetic design, sporty front bumper with fog lamp bezels, new clear headlamps, very stylish type 7-spoke wheel covers, sleekish outside mirriors for the door all of which are internally adjustable.
